Blue Dart Financial Results for the Quarter April – June 2019.
- Additional clarification on Profit Before Tax, as per Ind AS 116
Blue Dart Express Limited, South Asia's premier express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics Company, declared its financial results yesterday for the quarter ended June 30, 2019, at its Board Meeting held in Mumbai.
With reference to the above, on like to like basis, Profit Before Tax for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 is Rs. 22.57 crore on standalone basis. Effective April 01, 2019, the company has adopted the Ind AS 116 new accounting standard due to which there is an impact on leases for Air infrastructure of Rs. 15.71 crore. As a result, Profit Before Tax stands at Rs. 6.86 crore for the quarter, as per Ind AS 116.
We understand certain sections of the media have reported Profit Before Tax at Rs. 6.86 crore as like to like, which should be corrected as above.
