Blue Dart Expands Network In Kerala

M/s S. K. Associates and Blue Dart Express Limited, India's largest integrated air express and logistics company, have signed up an agreement today to offer value-added services catering to the special requirements of the Khozikode region in Kerala.

Malappuram is a town located about 65 km from Khozikode. With a majority of its people employed in the Gulf, travel business has seen an upsurge. Much of the packages will therefore comprise travel-related documents. Ayurveda Vaidyashata, providing traditional treatment and medicines, is another significant activity of this town in Kerala. It has a considerable following globally and attracts a floating tourist population. Shipments of both medicines and documents have become routine and reasonably attractive to bring in the organised sector of the courier industry. Having entered a strategic tie-up with M/s S. K. Associates, Blue Dart will now be able to offer its complete range of services to this segment.
