Blue Dart Opens New Warehouse and Service Centre in Chennai

Blue Dart Express Limited, India's largest express company has recently inaugurated a large Express Warehouse and Service Center, at Guindy, a prime industrial area of Chennai. With the opening of this Service Centre, Blue Dart's services will be available from 305 locations in Chennai.

The new mega Service Centre is the latest in a series of initiatives that Blue Dart has taken to further increase its distribution network and improve quality of service. Located in a sprawling 10,000 sq. ft area, this mega Service Center houses a large 4500 sq. ft warehouse with ramp loading and drive in facility for trucks. The fully air-conditioned Service Center will offer all products and services of Blue Dart. A separate, sealed area for managing logistics operations has also been provided for future use. The operations of the centre are completely computerised.

Speaking on the inauguration, Mr. Gopa Kumar, Regional Head (South-I), Blue Dart Express Limited said, "The opening of this warehouse and service centre will enable us to offer high quality services to our customers. It will also help us to increase our distribution reach in Chennai."
