Blue Dart Express introduces a Non Standard Shipment surcharge for International Shipments

Mumbai : December, 01, 2010:

Blue Dart Express understands that at times you need to send shipments which include pieces that exceed regular size and weight thresholds. These shipments require dedicated handling processes and often require increased resources from origin through to destination. Blue Dart Express continues to accept these shipments, but effective January 1, 2011, is introducing a Non Standard Shipment surcharge.

The surcharge applies to:

"Any single piece in a shipment that has a weight in excess of 70kg."

"Any single piece in a non-palletized shipment that has a dimension in excess of 120 cm."

"Any single pallet with a base length in excess of 120 cm."
